About The Event

GraphiCon-2020 — the 30th anniversary international conference on computer graphics and machine vision will be held from September 22 to 25, 2020 in St. Petersburg at the ITMO University.
The GraphiCon Conference dates back to 1991 and is the largest research and discussion platform in Russia and the CIS countries. The main fields the Graphicon is dedicated to are computer graphics, image processing and machine vision, visualization systems and virtual environments. The conference is designed to promote the development of these areas, improve the system of specialists training, attract talented students, graduate students, scientists, and expand the relations between academic science and industry.

GrafiCon-2019 is the 29th International Conference on Computer Graphics and Machine Vision, which was held from September 23 to 26, 2019 in Bryansk on the basis of the Bryansk State Technical University, with the support of the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics (Russian Academy of Sciences) and Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMASH RAN).

GrafiCon-2018 was held in Tomsk on the basis of the National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) and Tomsk State University of Control Systems and Radioelectronics (TUSUR).

GraphiCon 1991

GraphiCon-1991 - 1st conference held in Moscow with the support of ACM SIGGRAPH.
The event attracted more than 3000 participants from across the Union. The reports of Soviet specialists and the best practices of their American colleagues showed what modern computer graphics look like.
The conference was a huge success and since then has been held annually in different cities of Russia.
